– UPDATE: CONTEST OVER –
Christmas Contest: “What is your first travel memory?”
The spirit of Christmas is here at La Villa de Mazamet, and as we were sitting in the lounge by the fireplace, I asked Janice a simple question: “What is your first travel memory?”. She vividly remembers her trip to Disneyland California with her mon when she was 13. After queing for an hour for the Indiana Jones ride, they jumped to the front of the train, not knowing what to expect. When they saw the infamous bulder from the movie roll down towards them, they started screaming like there was no tomorrow! Thus was created a special mother-daughter moment. As for me, one of my earliest memories is a summer camp in the Alps, zooming down a soapy slip and slide, or pretending to be Pete Sampras on the tennis court, only to make a fool of myself when hitting the ball into the clouds. It was my first time travelling without my parents and trying hard to socialize and make friends.
