Wines and Cocktails
The wines we have selected for La Villa de Mazamet are predominately from family-owned, small yielding, organic vineyards, located no more than 90 mins from Mazamet - from Gaillac to our north and Corbieres to the south.
At La Villa de Mazamet, we take pride in showcasing the rich and diverse wines of our region. Our wine list features only wines produced within 85 kilometers of the villa — predominantly from the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region, with a special mention for the historic Gaillac appellation just under an hour to the north.
Every wine on our list has been personally selected, often following a visit to the vineyard and a conversation with the winemaker. We favour small-scale producers whose dedication and craftsmanship shine through in each bottle — many of which are little-known gems you won’t easily find elsewhere.
Most of the wines from our area are designed to be enjoyed relatively young, with vibrant fruit and freshness. The warm Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs favour red grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. You’ll also find expressive whites, particularly from Gaillac, using traditional varietals like Mauzac and Loin-de-l’Œil.
Our selection evolves throughout the year, following the rhythm of the vintages and our latest discoveries. If you’re joining us for dinner, we’ll be delighted to suggest a pairing to complement your meal.
